Dr. Sunanda Vadapalli, M.D.

Dr. Vadapalli graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, after completing a combined six year B.A./M.D. program right after high school.

She then moved to Los Angeles and did her internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, followed then by a year as Chief Resident. After working in a practice in Glendale, California, she went back to work and teach at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, until starting Santa Clarita Pediatrics in November 2004 with Dr. Yen.

Dr. Vadapalli has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since 1999. She and her husband have three beautiful daughters and a dog they rescued named Hobbes.

She loves to read, cook, eat, and travel. She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has run three marathons. She is an absolute fanatic of tennis player Roger Federer, the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals (and of all things Kansas City!)

Dr. Morris Yen, M.D.

Dr. Yen graduated with honors from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in biomedical engineering. He spent a year doing research before following his dream of becoming a pediatrician. He then went to the University of Tennessee Medical School and returned for his internship/residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Dr. Yen currently serves as Chief of Pediatrics at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.

He lives here in Santa Clarita and loves it. He has a beautiful wife and two daughters.

Unfortunately, he loves the Los Angeles Chargers, so he gets his heart broken every January.

You will see him throughout Santa Clarita at Costco, Walmart, Target, or at a local park. Don't be afraid to say hello.

Dr. Brian Alessi, M.D.

Dr. Alessi earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts in English from the University of California, Riverside. There, he taught college writing courses before deciding he wanted to pursue a career in medicine.

He attended medical school at the University of Southern California and then completed his Pediatric internship and residency at Los Angeles County-USC Hospital.

He lives in Santa Clarita with his wife and five children and enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr. Michelle Grino Campana, M.D.

Dr. Grino always knew that she wanted to care for children. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Philippines, then practiced pediatric physical therapy for about two years.

She attended medical school and graduated with honors from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. She completed her Pediatric internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She practiced general pediatrics for three years in Monroe, Louisiana and then moved to Santa Clarita, California with her husband and two daughters to be close to family.

Dr. Grino enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. You may see them dining at local restaurants as they enjoy eating out and trying new cuisines. She is a proud “dog mom” to her family’s French bulldog, Milo.

Dr. Luke Peters, M.D.
Dr. Luke Peters, M.D.

Dr. Peters is a lifelong resident of the Santa Clarita Valley. He attended many of the schools in Santa Clarita as they were first opening, and has been watching this valley grow ever since. He went to Mountainview Elementary, North Park Elementary, Rio Norte Junior High, and Valencia High School. Dr. Peters graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to obtain a Masters of Science in Global Health also from the University of Notre Dame. He then went to medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and then returned back to California where he completed his pediatric residency at UC Irvine / Children’s Hospital Orange County.

In his spare time, Dr. Peters enjoys spending time with family, playing soccer and pickup basketball, and reading novels. Be sure to mention what books your child is reading when you meet him because he loves discussing children’s literature as well. He is also an avid LA Clippers basketball fan and has supported them through thick and thin (mostly thin). Dr. Peters is excited to be able to serve and give back to the community where he grew up, now as a pediatrician here at Santa Clarita Pediatrics.
